The Amyntaion (Amyntaio) cooperative winery is in northern Greece, in Amyndeon. It was founded in 1954. They have some 120 cooperative grape producers on a bit over 120 ha. The vineyards are on a high level plateau at 570-750 m altitude. The coop produces a wide variety of wines, dry white, sweet white, red, sparkling and even a rose, sweet sparkling wine. Grape varieties that are used are e.g. Xinomavro, Roditis, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah, Traminer... Amyntaion Co-operative Winery. Amyndeon, Macedonia, Greece.
