This really IS how the soil looks in Chateauneuf

Stony soil in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Some parts of the Chateauneuf appellation has these "galets", round rocks. They really are this big. Makes you wonder how they plant and work the soil. Chateau Mont Redon, Chateauneuf, Rhone, France.
