Bouchard Pere et Fils is a négociant in Burgundy, founded in 1731. It is one of the best know négociants but has not always been known for its quality. In recent years it is generally considered that they have come back to focusing more on producing quality wine. This is especially true after the Bouchard house was bought by the Henriot family, a well known champagne dynasty, in the mid 1990s.

Today Bouchard Pere et Fils is located in the heart of Beaune in the prestigious Chateau de Beaune, with its beautiful garden and colourful tiled Burgundian roof. There they have a well guarded underground cellar with a treasure trove of old Burgundy wines.

The vineyard holdings of Bouchard includes some 130 hectares in several different communes and appellations across the Bourgogne region. The supplement their own grapes with raw material bought in from independent growers across Burgundy.

In 2005 they opened a new winery facility which gives Bouchard access to the latest state-of-the-art vinification technology.
