Andlau is a commune in the Bas-Rhin department in Alsace in north-eastern France. It is one of the northern towns in the central part of the Alsace wine region.
It is home to several excellent wine producers, for example Marc Kreydenweiss and Remy Gresser as well as a few restaurants. Some of the winemakers even have their wineries in the centre of the town.
The Kastelberg Grand Cru vineyard is just a short walk from the town centre and once you are up there you have a nice view over the Andlau village. It is predominantly planted with riesling grapes. There are two other Grand Crus in the commune: Moenchberg and Wiebelsberg.
